Who we Support

We believe a child’s early years are crucial in determining how they will learn and develop later in life and use early childhood strategies that are both family-centred and strengths-based. We work with families, caregivers, and their broader support networks to achieve the best outcomes for our paediatric clients.

This includes working closely with families and caregivers, schools, kindergartens, and childcare centres to provide consistent and holistic therapeutic support.

Our psychologists have experience helping individuals and children, families, and their supports to:

  • Understand their diagnoses and disabilities.
  • Manage feelings of stress, anger, anxiety, and/or depression.
  • Build emotional regulation strategies.
  • Support with grief, loss, crises, and/or trauma.
  • Improve relationships and social navigation.
  • Set goals, support confidence, and motivation.
  • Support problem-solving skills to navigate difficult situations.
  • Support clients in reaching their personal and NDIS goals.

Some conditions that we support include, but are not limited to:

  • Psychological assessments
    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
    • Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD)
    • Cognitive Assessments
    • Specific Learning Difficulties
      • Dyslexia
      • Dysgraphia
      • Dyscalculia
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Social Skills
  • Parent Support and Coaching
  • School readiness.

Psychology Assessments

At Scribble Children’s Therapy, our psychologists have experience in diagnosing autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, specific learning disorders and intellectual disability.

We have clinics conveniently located in Moonee Ponds, Caroline Springs, Craigieburn and Werribee.

Psychological assessments provide valuable information about a child’s cognitive ability, academic skills, attention, social navigation, and emotional well-being.

Results from psychological assessments help to identify a child’s strengths and areas for support, and guide what support and strategies may assist a child at home and school.
